She should have doubled down by picking the Governor of Pensylvania, Shapirro to secure the electoral votes for that battle ground state.

Harris came into the game very late due to Biden's selfishness in trying to hang even though he knew his time had past and that he had become a liability for the Democrats. Biden had criticized Trump's border policy, only to see Biden become more ineffective in the handling of the border. Biden would have helped the country and his party if he had not poured billions of dollars into a corrupt country known as the Ukraine; and Biden, along with his Secretary of State took a very wrong approach with their blind support of Netanyahu and his escalation of destruction in Garza and the West bank. Many college kids, academics, Independents and Arab-Americans either voted massively against the Democrats or sat out the election all together, and this robbed the Democrats of votes in a highly contested election. Biden laid the ground work for his Democratic party to lose the election, and there was nothing Harris could do to change things. When the state of the economy, Biden's border fiasco, and the over-spending on the Ukraine and Israel instead of pumping those funds intro the American economy; the late entry of Harris as her party's Presidential candidate; the inability of Harris to address attacks on her government's mishandling of the economy for fear of stepping on Biden's toes; and the fact that Trump had been putting together a plan of attack for four years while Harris had merely a few months to work with, only left Harris with a difficult burden that she could not overcome. One also should note that Trump always knows how to play into the insecurities of many white voters by his use of subtle race-bating statements.

Inasmuch as I had hoped for Harris's win, your assessment is 1000% spot on. One other element that's missed is Netenyahu's penchant for doubling down the war in the Middle East. He is facing his own prosecution for previous crimes, and I think his desire to prolong and expand the war was an attempt to help alienate Muslims in swing states to help Trump win. In fact, there were news reports of even the Hezbolla leader agreeing to a cease-fire days before Netenyahu had him assassinated. When the war was expanded to Lebanon, Biden had to ship heavy weaponry to defend the Israelis in case other Middle Eastern adversaries tried to get involved. Harris, who was once viewed favorably by the Muslim communities in swing states with respect to thr War, was forced into a corner to pick the Israelis' side, further alienating the angered Muslim community. Moreover, because the Iranians hacked the Trump campaign and shared the material with Biden's campaign, coupled with the same hiring an assassin to eliminate Trump, the Israelies may have calculated that they have more to gain with Trump in the Whitehouse. If this happened, which it has, they could push the US to "eliminate" their mortal enemy--something they have craved with each successive US administration. Thus Netenyahu, a right wing-politician himself, may have done more to secure Trump's win than other people realize

The new Biden administration in 2021 had to take drastic measures including printing trillions of dollars to buouy up the economy which caused the inflation people are complaining about. The Democrats should have made this clear during the campaign, but they shied away from it. Getting to the end of the campaign, Harris campaign became boring by her repeating the same message over and over again at every town she went instead of reminding Americans of the dangers ahead like Trump handing the Health and Human Services to Kennedy who has been preaching anti vaccination conspiracy theories and Elon Musk whose vote canvassing methods was similar to slavery labor.

Kamala Harris run a very poor campaign getting to the last week or 2 weeks to the election. She was reciting the same message over and over again at any campaign stop she was as if a recorded tape was playing. Americans are complaining of inflation that she acknowledges. Instead of explaining precisely how that inflation came about and what measures the Biden administration has put in place to bring inflation down and what she will do to continue bringing it down if elected, she was focused on Trump grievances which may have turned off some independent voters. The American economy started crashing from June 2020 with hundreds of thousands of Americans losing their jobs even before the November 2020 elections. The new Biden administration had to take drastic measures including printing trillions of dollars to keep their economy afloat, and that undoubtedly caused the inflation. She failed to tell Americans this very fact that caused the disaster to the Democrats. Now in 2025, when inflation comes down as a result of the measures the Biden administration has already put in place, Trump will undoubtedly take credit for it, and the gullible Americans will associate it with him as they did in his first 2 years after Obama put in economic measures to revive the US economy. Joe Biden is also to be blamed for this lost. During his 2020 campaign, he said he was going for one term presidency, ostensibly because of his age. Instead of giving way by not running again so the Democrats can have the time to run proper primaries to choose their candidate, he sabotaged them by putting forward his candidacy when he knew all was not well with him.

Then comes Biden's biggest blunder, blindly supporting Israel's Netanyahu and his genocide against the Palestinians in the West Bank and Garza. In spite of sending billions of dollars and weapons to Israel to support its attack against the Palestinians, Netanyahu refused to listen to calls from some Americans, including Biden, to halt the ferocious attacks that have left hundreds of of thousands homeless and thousands dead. Biden's call for Netanyahu to stop the attacks was not sincere, for Biden's Secretary of State declared that Israel will have to carry on with those attacks until Hamas been decimated. Biden's blind support of Israel in its genocide undoubtedly alienated many in his Democratic party as well as many in the Independent voters who usually have voted for the Democratic party in a contest against the Republicans. The Republicans usually vote solidly for their candidates, with a few crossing over to vote for Democratic candidates. It did not help the Democrats that Biden criticized Trump loudly about huis handling of migrants at the border when Trump was President. Once Biden became President, his handling of the border issue became a laughing stock, angering many of his citizens who just couldn't wait to cast their votes against the Democratic party. Many college students, many Arab-American voters, and many democrats either chose to sit out the election or cast their votes against the Democratic party. And it also did not help Harris that she was still working as Biden's Vice-President and hence found it difficult to distance herself from some of Biden's major missteps that Trump and the Republicans were attacking. In the end, Biden paved the road for the return of Trump, the same man that he defeated four years earlier.
