Why on earth would they have promised to refund money stolen from the customer if they were truly not involved? They are afraid that the customer may have noticed their trick and would spill the beans to the police so they want him to keep quiet. Over 6 million Ghana Cedis is not a small amount that you can easily say you would refund as if it is 20 Ghana Cedis. I will also blame the Government of Ghana for destroying the banks to the extent that people have to keep their money at home. You take your money to the bank and you will not get it back. It is now only fools who keep their money in a Ghanaian bank.
