The main resource of your shithole region is salt. Indeed all the educational institutions, medical facilities, roads and the overall development of your parasitic region have been underwritten by the natural resources of regions in Ghana. The only contributions of trokosis in Ghana are political instability, agitation for secession, tribalism and a culture entitlement and insults. Nkrumah did Ghana great disservice when he dragged you Togolese screaming and kicking into the Republic after you voted to remain Togolese in the 1956 referendum. Development is a process- one takes development from one point to another point, and others continue from there based on availability of resources. If the Article 97 is for the future, why was it not explain in the Constitution ?
The Chief justice has taken a political decision against Parliament by ignoring the Constitution.
Suprême Court should strictly defend the Constitution at all times but not play partisan politics.

The whole article 97 talks about the tenure of an MP. So why do ppl think that an MP intent to contest a future election on a different ticket is a violation of his/her current tenure . Clearly the clauses (g), (h) was meant to prevent cross carpeting or floor crossing; a situation where an MP voted on the ticket of party A arrives in Parliament and decides that he wants to work with party B. As an illustration the current govt cld have bribed some NDC MPs with ministerial appointments, contracts or money to join the NPP side in order to strengthen their weak majority. That is what Article 97 forbids. Because it wld make Parliament unstable as well as it wld betray the mandate of the constituents who voted for them.

Tsatsu Tsikata took the matter to the Human Rights High Court in Ghana and won.
People are appointed justices of the Supreme Court because they must know the law, at the same time not to be partisan when dealing with issues, and also be fair to all manner of people, both rich and poor.
