Consensus should have been the NPP caucus keyword or vocabulary but they neglected that and decided to live in the same life of the 7th Parliament where the mantra was "You can have your say but we will have our way"

Joe Wise indeed is saying the truth for once without being partisan. The behaviour and posture of people like Afenyo Markin is dangerous for democracy. His demeanour and the manner he talks to the Speaker is a sign of imamturity, arrogant and pompous. The older MPs like Osei Bonsu being in the helm of affairs of the the Majority group would have definately resolve this matter behind closed doors with wisdom. This trend also seems to indicate that our upbringing from childhood is flawed. And Jesus weeps.

This is hypocrisy in the highest order. Which people stated showing machoism? Didn't you bend the rules when you chaired and still wanted to vote when your standing orders say the one presiding has no vote? You went to the useless SC and they said you represent a constituency and that you should vote. Fine, one day this will come to bite the NPP. Just like how it is biting them today over MPs contesting as independent or on a party ticket if one were and independent.
In terms of lack of consensus in parliament, everyone who follows the behaviour of the NPP MPs will know that their arrogance has clouded their judgment, and they are now foolish. Just look at 'Sticker's' behaviour when E-levy bill was to be passed. He said they (NPP) is in power and whether NDC and Ghanaians like it or not they will pass it, and truly they used crude means to put that monstrous burden on Ghanaians. The unanimous FC has been backing this unruly NPP members to fool in the house and turn around to make noise. Where was the 'Joe fool" when his people have gone berserk?

There's a reason for the tension in parliament and the behaviour of the members.
I totally disgrace with Joe Wise for saying that the young leadership from both sides are demonstrating the worst in them.
What could he have done if he was the leader of NPP in parliament?
Afenyo Markin's action is a result of collective failure from the NPP.
Take a break and see how many members are leaving the NPP to go independent or join a different party.
Can you imagine what could have happened to NPP if Afenyo Markin had not step in?
NPP should have been reduced to the opposition side in parliament.
I can't blame him for saving his party.
When it comes to NDC,I can't blame them protecting the provision Article 97 in the Constitution.
As for the Supreme Court,you can expect that they will rule in favour of NPP with disregard to the Constitution.
Perhaps that's where we are going to see the "demonstration of worst judgement".Tnx.

The 8th parliament has no parallel in terms of quality and legislative rigour. The parliamentary paralysis aline has a crucial, reflective and sentimental value. It's the best parliament ever.
