Having a prestigious degree is meaningless if it can't solve real-world problems. For instance, Great Britain's economists effectively addressed their currency's decline after a government change, but Ghana's economists have failed to stabilize the Cedi against the dollar. As is, it's would be wasteful and unwise for the central bank to pump in more dollars. That's all speculators want.

Bro bro stop that, the cedi was 15 to a dollar in May when we weren't servicing our debt, now Ghana is servicing it debt and the expected syndicated loan which has been helping us stabilise the cedi around October is cancelled. GHana is also blocked from borrowing from the international market so this are the factors leading to the rapid depreciating of the cedi. I forgot to mention, mismanagement
