From look of things that are happening in our parliament one can sadly say "It is a curse to be a Ghanaian." These people waste precious time on trivial issuses, leaving sensitive ones untouched. The most annoying part is, we will wake up one day and hear them crying for salary increase and incentives for funerals.

It is all ado about nothing.
I’m wondering how much business can be done before elections when parliament resumes.
For example, I don’t see the approval of the two new supreme courtr judges happening.

When I saw Dafiemakpo on joy tv on Saturday threatening that the NDC would ensure that there is quorum to take decisions, I was very sad. Just because the SC has instructed that you should maintain the status quo ante in the House (which would prevent the NDC from executing it's diabolical agendas) they don't want to participate in taking important decisions that will move Ghana forward? Skirt and blouse voting has given birth to the worst parliament in the 4th Republic...mostly full of immature adults (on the NDC side (minus Dr. Ayine).

When parliament resumes, the Speaker should ensure that they go by the reasons they have been recalled: to look at the bills and review grants. No more trivial discussions which would eat away precious time.

What is the meaning of interpretation when it comes to the Constitution ?
I don't think it's about understanding the English language.
Interpretation of the Constitution which is before the Suprême Court is all about process and ethics of the Law.
To begin with, there is no majority party in parliament today.Npp has the same seats as the NDC.
If we simply call for status quo then ofcourse we are not making ourselves any good.
There must be a dialogue between some statesmen to steer the ship of state not parties.
If we fail to use diplomacy now our democracy will slip from our hands.
The Speaker didn't draft the Constitution and Standing Orders in parliament just like the Chief justice didn't make laws.
When the Constitution fails to meet a certain situation, you need statesmen to come onboard to solve the problem.Tnx.
