  Insults will not help. It was the Free Northern Education Scholarship that made many people from the North like Mahama, Bawumia and many more to go to school and get to High Places. They didn’t deserve the Northern Scholarship because they had rich parents who could have paid. Was there any such scholarship for the people from the South. Many Southerners could not go to High School because the parents couldn’t afford.
  Akuffo Addo NE NPP, YEDA MO ASE PAPAPAA. Let people speak against Free SHS Education. We don’t care because it has come to stay. NANA, the people from the South thank you very much.

  Then you come and tell us is it free. Free for where go to St Mary's school, Accra see for yourself. Then look out for others doing same. So if about 500 students are admitted in this school , multiplied by 500cedis . The head teachers are making illegally 250,000cedis. What are they going to use this money for

  1. I started primary school in 1958 . Maybe I was too young to notice but I don't think I paid any fees. Learning materials like exercise books, pencils, crayons etc were purchased by the pupils.
  
  2. I went to secondary school in 1966. Tuition and textbooks were free. Textbooks were given to us at the beginning of the academic year and collected at the end of the academic year free of charge. We bought other learning materials like exercise books and school paraphernalia like jerseys, etc.
  
  3. In sixth-form in1971 - 1973 we all enjoyed government bursary and paid very minimal fees.
  
  4. I remember paying 10 cedis then when I was admitted to the university in 1973. That was the only payment I made to the university. Tuition, boarding, academic user fees etc were all free.
  
  Mr. Akufo Addo, stop always praising yourself because the system you enjoyed at elementary school and university was far superior to your FSHS.

  I have nieces and nephews who have benefited from free shs. My children will soon start enjoying it but I'm curious to know how much it's costing us as a nation. Politicians will do anything to make us believe they are giving us free things when they are not really free.
  
  The president hands over and goes into retirement to enjoy his loot or pension paid for by us and we continue to suffer from the decision he took to give us what we thought were freebies.

Ghanaians are paying the fees through the high taxes imposed on them by the criminals, scammers and thieves in power. Where is the source of funding for the shit of a free education in Ghana?
  There is no food to feed the students in senior high schools in ghana. Most of them don't have a place to sleep in the dormitory. Headmaster can't complain for fear that they will be demoted. And you call this bolla policy free education.
  Only dogs will believe that there is free education in ghana.

  If the policy were to be bogus, would Mahama say that ndc started it, after his earlier utterance that, were the state to have 2billion cedis, he wouldn't use it on free shs.
  Bravo to Nana Akufo Addo for this bold policy that benefits all Ghanaians in contrast to the Northern scholarship scheme by Nkrumah, which benefitted only Northerners.
