That woman Gertrude Torkornoo is more useless than an NPP footsoldier. What was she trying to say? Are we serious in this country? She was doing plain politics rather than reading the law. Article 97 (1)g h states that an MP SHALL vacate his seat in parliament if......This is as clear as crystal. Gertrude Torkornoo said if this happens, the MP would lose his salary, benefits and no representation for the constituents. Like seriously? What happened to the people of Formena four years ago, Assin North for three years and SALL for over four years? Is Gertrude Torkornoo writing her own constitution or what? What is the benefit of the constitution of these clueless justices are putting their own meanings to it? If she misinterpreted the constitution, she has also committed high treason and must be punished. Ghana has really a rotten justice delivery system.

If you go to the Hansard of parliament you know how Gaewu was passed. It was acrimonious. So as a seasoned judge you take that into consideration and not just say parliament passed him. Secondly, the npp as a party we knew was not party to the suit, but you know if not for mischief she was trying to play that the suit is an npp against an Ndc suit. If she doesn’t know then she should not be sitting there. She just picks and choose what suits her agenda. When you are fair we know. Even your posture that day revealed a lot about your disdain towards the Sory guy.

Martin Kpebu could also "go and burn the sea"! Certainly, there are numerous diverse opinions from diverse legal luminaries. Such is the situation facing the citizenry, as regards the ruling of the Supreme Court for throwing out the Speaker's obnoxious case. Nonetheless, the Supreme Court is the final arbiter in such matters of constitutional law; whether we like it or not. So, Alan Kyeremateng and Kwaku Ansa-Asare and their ilk should better shove off, or "go and burn the sea", too!
