This Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo is the most incompetent judge I have seen in my life. She has left her law certificate at home and now doing active politics. I really don't know how our judicial system works in Ghana. Most of the interpretations of these justices are wrong. Why should we allow them to be toying with our lives? Who watches the watchman? In all honesty, the supreme Court is just doing politics not enforcing any rule of law.

The Chief Justice’s explanation should let opposing lawyers eat humble pie and accept the verdict. It’s very clear.
The other side would have won the day if in the middle or beginning of Parliament, an MP decides to switch parties or become an independent. There should not be any more questions. Let’s do away with party allegiance and think smart. It will help us all.

I'm finding it quite difficult to understand what is happening in this country. Is it a case of incompetent or a deliberate partisan politics being played by the Supreme Court which is being championed by this heartless woman, Getrude Torkornu? Is it a deliberate manipulation of the court system to favour the NPP? I heard her said the interpretation of Speaker Bagbin as regards the declaration of those seats was flawed. I'm finding it a bit difficult to understand it. I would have love to hear how differently the former Speaker, Mike Oquaye had interpret it. Why is this woman doing this to Ghana? What exactly does she aim to achieve with all what she is doing? If Ghanaians do not stand up to this Getrude Torkornu and Jean Mensah, they will live to regret. These two have been planted in these two important institutions to destroy it. Ghanaians must wake up now. I urge the Speaker to call their bluff. Do they have families? Yes, they are being followed by the military. What about their family members. All of a sudden, Getrude Torkornu knows that it is not good for some sections of Ghanaians to not have representation in Parliament. Unbelievable! What about the people of SALL? Why is this woman trying to chew more than she can bite? We live to see. Very alarming and scaring. May I remind this woman, Getrude Torkornu that she will fail mersirably.

The SC overstepped its boundaries by issuing order on a case it has no jurisdiction over. The constitution of Ghana which is the Supreme law of Ghana which every one in this country must obey, have given jurisdiction of the case in question to the high court at Article 99 of the constitution. Why did the Supreme Court disobe article 99 and took jurisdiction over a matter that has been assigned to the high court.?
One is thing clear the Supreme Court is created by the constitution and therefore cannot be above the constitution. By their actions they have disobeyed the constitution as such the SC has rather overstepped its limit.
