  People do not even respond to your messages, because you do not even make sense to prove the value of your professorship since you chose to support John Mahama who can bring you shame for your hard-earned reputation. Politics is not good for you but education. Please, set up an academic foundation to retain your legacy and leave John Mahama to his greedy selfish shame! Thanks!

  The markets are not the problem but the need for foreign revenue, because market without local production only promotes imports and loss of national wealth due to excessive importation. Please, with maximum respect, try to think as a professor before you do any political post, because Ghanaians are now more intelligent to see value than just respecting your credentials as done in the past!   What can we do as a nation, to strengthen our local currency? Look, there is no nation on this planet that will allow a black market to operate freely on the market and dictate the rate of the local currency to that of the international ones. That is the first hurdle facing Ghana.
  
  To stop the sliding of the cedi, we have to give in our insatiable appetite for foreign good and patronize our locally produced good as way to shore up our cedi. Also, why should we allow the dollar to be used alongside our cedi in Ghana? Where do you hear or see such silliness other than in Ghana and what impact does it have on our cedi?
  
  I am not an expert on money but to stop these "back-and-forth" cedi/dollar debate, we should dollarize our economy else there is nothing we can do.
