Are there not Christians all over the world who travel to Jerusalem to pray by the walls of the temple, hitting their heads to the Temple as they pray? What about those who travel to the Middle East to see the river Jordan and swim in the Dead Sea? Matters of religion are difficult to understand fully so don’t look down on them.

For there to be peace, let us respect each other’s religion, especially when their religion does not infringe on our rights and responsibilities. Let us note that when religious war and conflicts are started, they are not easy to be stopped and they carry a lot of violence with them.

I beg to disagree with you on the statement that religion is something we mortals cannot understand. Rather, religion is man-made, but the how the world came into existence is something we mortals cannot understand. God is a mystery, and so too is this beautiful and wonderful world populated by very many good people and just a few bad apples, a few bad apples who often can poison minds, destroy lands, pollute rivers, and even carry out genocide against others. We may need to respect other cultures and religions, but some things are so obvious in their state that one can't help but point out the obvious. When certain cultural beliefs are clearly comical and anachronistic, humans should have the right to point that out.

I have a relative who started reading some strange materials and before long, was hearing voices and telling us what god was saying and wanted people to do.

From the very beginning, I told him he was having mental problems but family members said I was too blunt and may also be wrong.

We took him to the Accra asylum and spent some time there. It was the best decision we ever took as a family. Today, we laugh at what he used to say and he joins in the laughter.

If he had gotten some followers, a religion would have been born now with serious consequences to his followers and people would have been saying that their religion should be respected.
