Bur once the Supreme Courts jurisdiction for interpretation has been invoked, the High Court will have to wait for its ruling. This new suit at the High Court is a desperate action by NDC to circumvent the Supreme Court, but it cannot exert pressure on the Supreme Court to rule hastily. The rumor is that NDC wants majority to use it to pepper the EC to grant access to its IT systems in the name of conducting an audit. The sole purpose is to hack into EC systems and manipulate the election results.

Per the logic of Mr Speaker ( A.K Bagbin) Hon Ayorkor Botchey seat must also be declared vecant for contesting for an international job when she knew her current position cannot combine with Parliamentary duties.
