Unfortunately, the annex of his part head quarters, the supreme Court resonated with his emotional move without a single thought about the law. The judiciary is creating a dangerous and poisonous society for Ghanaians.

  I find this development interesting. I'm not familiar with the mentioned article. However, my question is, with the speaker's declaration, is the current number of parliamentarians reduced by 4 or not? The current parliament is different from the one before, so also the next one which the 4 parliamentarians, if they win their seats, sit as independents. I'm sorry to say, either I'm confused, or the current constitution has this issue not well written out.

  It is indeed interesting and I hope the judges allow the politicians to argue and resolve this conflict. It would be a lesson to all of us. To me as a layman it sounds clear that since the 4 MPs have registered to go independent, they automatically forfeit their sits as MPs for their various parties. This reduces the NPP sits by 4 allowing the NDC to claim majority. It sounds simple and I am unsure why they are fighting on this issue. The NPP’s own constitution sacks them as members automatically when they defect. Let’s see how they resolve this issue.

  The Speaker of parliament did the right call. The portion of the constitution the Speaker utilized to announce the vacancy needs no interpretation. The NPP are either confused or are pretending to be confused because they are certain that Unanimous FC will rule in their favor. As for Unanimous FC, they should continue with this kind of bias and favoritism. They should remember that it is fora reason that history is documented. Sometimes history repeats itself.

The NPP thinks we are dumb and imbeciles but their own chickens have come home to roost. In all what he said he ended up by saying but article 99 says its only the high court that can declare a parliamentary seat vacant,that's ridiculous isn't it? So why did he say the speaker was right in the first place? The npp in him will not allow him to think 360 degrees.
