Torkornoo is toooo petre petre. She needs to take her time in situations like this. He statement on the issue already shows her bias as she made pronouncements on situations which were not part of the remedy sought. The impacted people had not sought any pronouncements by the supreme court.
Torkornoo would not have made these blunders had she not let emotions take the upper hand.

Parliament can only be suspended if the MPs agree so. Tomorrow if a section want parliament to sit they can cause him to reconvene parliament whether he likes it or not. He is not a law unto himself.

Almost one million Ghanaians fled to Nigeria between 1977-1983. ( From Acheampong — JJ Rawlings tenures) Our women engaged in prostitution in Nigeria and the Ivory Coast, while the men engaged in all sorts of menial jobs-.like shoe shines, alteration tailors, selling of meat pies and bread, brick laying and laborers!

Then the Nigerians ordered a mass deportation of Ghanaians in January 1983. And as of that was enough there was a very serious drought in Ghana so all our the food crops were scorched to death that year. So come and see hunger! Oh my — That’s the time Ghanaians developed what we used to call “Rawlings chain”! But because Rawlings was calling the bluffs on the Western Nations they were hesitating to come to our aid. So we started to queue to buy common kenkey. Even the Kenkey slush ( waste liquid) was for the privileged! Hey! Are are you a human being or animal? I’m insulting you to cool my tempers! Because of what you have said! Come Again!
