you call yourself a lawyer. You should be ashamed of yourself. In the first place you should have pointed out that The issue at hand is a high Court issue and does not fall within the juristiction of the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice should have known better and directed them to the High Court but because of politics she shamefully did not do that and with the speed of the wind empanelled other political judges to offer a ruling. I feel sorry for her and hope she is able to get some sleet due to the embarassment she has caused herself

Interpretation of the constitution lies in the bosom of the SC and not the high court. Do your research well.

The Supreme Court on Friday did not interpret any law to support their directive to the Legislature. The judges based their action on emotions and emotions are not in the constitution. Mr Lawyer which Law did the Supreme Court base their directive on? . Natural Justice is a moral concept and therefore cannot form the basis of Supreme Court’s directive to the Legislature .Which law did the speaker of Parliament break as per the Supreme Court ruling? . Mr Lawyer the courts are not above the constitution of Ghana so they cannot do whatever they like. Why did the Supreme Court jump the constitutional arrangements by ignoring Article 99 of the constitution and assumed jurisdiction over issues that are reserved for the high court by the Constitution?

The SC said it has a constitutional interpretation writ before it and served parliament to hold on till it deals with it, that's the import of the service to parliament. The speaker ignored that and interpreted the constitution which is not within his remit. If he ignores the SC's directive he will be cited for contempt. Mark my words, knowing the speaker and the shenanigans of the NDC he won't try it.
