I solidly support you. If the seized equipments are given to authorities, they will vanish and get back to the Galamsay people for them to continue their destruction of the environment. We have had situations in the past when seized Galamsay equipments get back to the GALAMSAYERS. Now that they have been burned, it will take some time for the Galamsayers to get new equipments and to their stations. The people l blame most are the Police, Community leaders and the Chiefs. How do these machines get to their operating area without the Police, Chiefs and Community leaders not knowing? How do they operate the machines that the Chief and the Community leaders don’t have any knowledge about it? We are our own enemies. We don’t need to cry about the destruction of our environments because we are part of it.

A chief threw Nana Kwame Bediako out of his town for not coming to seek his permission before campaigning there. Not that I support Bediako or any of the presidential aspirants, but the fact that he needed the town chief's permission says all that there is to know. That is to say, nothing goes on without the knowledge of our chiefs.

Is burning not part of decommissioning? Seize the equipment and keep them where? This Minister is very well uninformed of the parameters within which such a Task Force operates or should operate.

We know what’s happening ok madam galamseyers party mouthpiece. The Colonel who lead the operation is the commanding officer of the 3rd infantry battalion and as they went and do surface operations and eye service just to throw dust in the eyes of the public to portray the government is fighting mining in the river, the Commanding officer from HQ Southern comm insisted they should destroy the said machine this lead to his repatriation from the operation back to Accra because he wanted to do the right thing .We are still monitoring with Eagle Eyes.
