These MPs have not changed their seats yet. Neither have they changed their party affiliations as yet. They have only declared their intentions for the elections on 7th December. Until the day of the elections, they still have to complete their mandate to the people who voted them to parliament.

According to our constitution, if a parliamentary seat becomes vacant, a by-election must be conducted within three months (or so), unless the seat becomes vacant within 6 months of a pending general election!
For that matter, declaring the seats of MPs vacant based on the mere fact that they intend to contest the forth coming elections as different candidates does not serve any good purpose. It will only end up causing more disrupting of the activities of our lazy parliament!
