If floatation mining is destroying our water bodies, why is UTAG not delving into the possibility of researching into physical mining methods such as use of electromagnetism, centrifugation etc.
Shame on UTAG. What is your take on bioremediation to help restore the degraded lands.

Listen to what the Prof is saying. Universities are the places to do research and find solutions to the problems coming out of the society. Have Ghanaian Universities done thorough research on galamsey and presented it to the government to work on it and the government refused their proposal? What some Ghanaians professors do is always come on TV to talk as if he or she knows everything under the sun without creating anything meaningful for the society to benefit. Meanwhile he or she takes salary every month. University is the place to give solutions not to embark on unnecessary strikes here and there.

Do you know how long it takes for some ideas to be recognized for a Nobel prize? Ghana's education system is so weak. It's foundation is the primary and secondary schools we have. If all that schools care is 8 ones in BCCE and 8 As in WASSSE and not applied knowledge do you expect the society to do well?

This government is still contracting loans, signing new mining licenses and other contracts and so what is wrong if UTAG calls on this government to address the senseless gold mining activities going on in this country

I was happy when Sammy Gyamfi made this moron so stupid on live TV last year. He never recovered from that humiliation. Now he has resorted to cheap Ghanaweb to spew hypocritical trash. If I were an academic in Ghana, we would have mobilised today and go and drag him out of the office and let market women give him some slaps whilst parading him in the streets around IPS.
