GhanaWeb is actually one of the tools Mahama is using to direct resentment against the NPP in respect to dealing with the illegal mining activities. The NDC and their allies strategically waited till this moment at the time the NPP should be be courting for votes, to turn the tide against the government. Why did the wait at this moment to start their anti GALAMSEY campaign.

Mahama employed similar tactics in 2020 when the President put his Presidency on the line and started taking on the illegal miners. And as soon as the government started courting resentment from the mining enclaves, Mahama and Asiedu Nketia started going around those towns and assured the miners that they should vote for NDC because they will allow them to continue their illegal activities.

What I reckon the military should do is to get someone like me who know these machines so major components like engine, control valves, swing motor, swivel joint, hydraulic pumps, pto, ppc etc would be destroyed with a sledge hammer. When that's done it will cost a fortune to fix the digger and that might probably put it out of service for good.
