Let me ask a simple question: if you bought a house from an owner who was known to not have maintained it well, and a family member of yours sustained a serious injury on the property attributable to poor maintainance, what would people say: 1)Why dont you hold the previous owner accountable? or 2) Why didn't you fix the problem since you knew about it when you bought it?

By your own admission, Akuffo Addo has known about this problem since before he occupied the seat of the presidency. In fact, HE CAMPAINED on it. Why are you casting the blame elsewhere? Is Mahama the current president?

Trust me, if you are capable of good reflection and judgment, know this: if it were not for the strike that was just called off, Akuffo Addo would have done NOTHING. Why? Because both crooks in the NDC and NPP are benefiting from it while the citizens bear the consequences.

People like you don't love Ghana. You love it when your party is in office, not when the country is being steered in the right or wrong direction.

As I wrote to you the other day, I don't trust your NPP. Neither do I trust the NDC.

Military takeover is what these crooks need to wake up.

All CHIEFS, ASSEMBLY MEMBERS and their UNIT COMMITTEE MEMBERS whose territorial boundaries illegal activities are going on should also be dealt with. The greatest problem is, some political appointees have sites and are deeply involved in the galamsey! So at the end, the statement, "Order from above" will impede the effectiveness of the military operatives.

More importantly, all shops selling galamsey items should be shut down or the items seized.
