If you want to reduce road infractions, what do you do? One surest and most productive measures to adopt is to train as many as possible, the unlicensed drivers and give them license to drive. The same applies to the illegal mining. Issuing more licenses is in itself a means of fighting illegal mining bcos the license gives the miner identity and could easily be accessed and held accountable for any mining illegality.

Christianity and education have made people so intellectually criminally wise to the extent that common sense is thrown out to the dogs. Our traditional religion thought us to observe certain taboos and norms as a way of protecting our well being and environment but the so called educated people and their all fake christians say NO observing those Taboos and norms were against Christian faith and not scientific. How come those uneducated chiefs and the Traditionalists were able to protect the water bodies and environment for centuries only to be destroyed by the so called christians and the so called educated enlightened people ? Now everybody is crying about the negative effects of galamsey. Indeed everybody is fooling himself or herself in the country notable the so called christians and educated class. Indeed there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between education and knowledge on one hand and common sense on the other.

They followed the rules given to them and nothing happened to our water.
Since npp came to power through dubious means all mining licenses have been given to the party members including the president family and cronies. They started destroying all the forest and the rivers. Because they were looking for the gold everywhere both the forest and the rivers that is the problems we having today. They have given the both rivers and the forest crude searching that mostly caused all the rivers in the country polluted to this color of the rivers.

We know how many governments workers especially CSO’s bought excavators to engage in illegal mining from 2010 to 2016, just like they did invested in the various pyramid get rich quick schemes that impoverished millions of innocent and ignorant Ghanaians and they turn around to cry wolf when this same government tried to save them through the banking sector clean up.
Oh i was extremely happy especially the banking sector clean up and the bond exchange program-for the first time in so many years they rich felt the pinch of acting like ostriches and taking the advantage of the system to the detriment of the poor Ghanaian.
I am looking forward to the day investigation will lead to arrest of those who finance these illegal mining. We are playing politics with the our river bodies like we did with tricycles that continue to maim and kill the poor Ghanaian youths which includes many bread winners.!

By the records of the Mining Repo, only 3 Mining licenses were issued from 2014 to 2016, 820 from 2019 to 1024. It's there for all discerning people to see.
