  This foreign minister is out of touch with the reality. The Ghanaians she is advising to come home do not have the liberty to choose between coming home and staying there. They are largely domestic workers who are enslaved without access to their passports. They have been bought and have to work until the amount of time they have been bought elapse. They will die there for their stupidity, for they knew what they were going into yet joined the flight to Arabia.

What is in that Lebanon.look at all the ofiri Lebanese in Ghana who see Ghana as their abroad..personally I don’t pity fools who make stupid decisions..as am typing now, I know of a friend(female) who is making a trip to Iraq to be working as domestic worker( as a slave), I have tried every means to stop her, but she won’t listen..I even tried to give her 20,000 cedis Free money for her to start business since she is a hair dresser but she still said she wants to travel to Iraq to be a slave..so in this case, what do u want the Govt to do..some Ghanaians especially our women, they are too stupid and gullible..this lady am talking about has her own hair drawing shop and her own apartments..she is not suffering, but I think she just want to be in plane.it’s foolishness that lands them as slaves in the Middle East

  Stop being ignorant. You dont need a Ghana Passport to travel to Ghana. A travel certificate can be isdued to you if you can prove your identity as a Ghanaian which the Honorary Consul can facilitate through a short interview with someone at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by phone, whatsapp or zoom. You will be spoken to in a local langusge to verify your identity with basic questions about your hometown, survivibg relatives etc and a travelling certificate issued.
  
  The main problem these Ghanaians will face is not papers. Its the fact that almost all airlines have stipped travellling to Beirut and the few flying are so exhorbitant that i doibt they can afford it.
  
  My suggestion is that ECOWAS in collaboration with the governments of the region hires s ship to evacuate all its nationals in Beirut
