Is it not Chiefs who have encouraged and accelerated galamsey in Ghana? He wants to involve chiefs in the licensing of small scale mining. The chiefs and government officials are already in the game, destroying all our water bodies. I don`t think Bawumia has any concrete solution. Nonsense. A vision-less plan designed solely to gather votes from chiefs. The licensing of mining operations should be the sole responsibility of the national government. Bawumia and his NPP government have failed to tackle galamsey, and he now plans on giving chiefs power in the licensing of small-scale mining. Bawumia is not only incompetent but also vision-less, and he must be evicted from Julor House by Ghana voters on December 7.

Again there is a vicious cycle and Gh. must come to terms with it, they can no longer hide their heads in the sand and assume the problem will take care of itself.These politicians go out there to find money to fight elections(Money Galore by Amu Djoleto) and if they assume office, these debts have to paid. The mechanism they use in repaying these debts is best explained by our literature(Ayi Kwei Armah, the beautyful ones are not yet born and Chinue Achebe, No longer at east) and the contemporary every lives
