  Absolutely, that was what I was saying. Messi had his own drought for months on end when he arrived at PSG and never performed as he was in Barcelona. All Kudus needs is focus and drive.

Footballers mature, and Kudus can't continue to play like the way he is playing all the time, if you do that no big team will sign you. Kudus is a great talent, I admire him but he should learn to play according to the way the coach wants him to play or else he will bench you. The more you sit on the bench, the more your value decline. Look at Cole Palmer, look at Rodrigo, look at Vini, they dribble, create and score. The coach sees Kudus as a big talent and thinks he is not living up to expectation so he wants him to awaken. But fool's will think it is racial.

  When Kudus was shopping for a team after leaving Ajax, I advocated for him to sign up for a top three team in any of the top leagues in Europe because that's where he deserved to be. I maintained that he was better than West Ham and they would slow him down and eventually kill his career. Well, that's what we are witnessing now.
  
  Who substitutes the best player on the pitch? Regardless of where West Ham ends up on the EPL table this season, this should be Kudus' last year with the club. He needs a top tier team like Real Madrid, Barca, Man City, Liverpool or even Man Utd to challenge him and propel his game to the next level, otherwise he will gradually fade away and become just another underachiever and a wasted talent. This is the time for him to make his move. He is still young in his early 20's and it is the prime age in a soccer players evolution. If he lets this critical time pass by, he will never know how good he could have been.
