There is no better audit than for all of us to check our names when the register is exhibited. Political affiliations are not part of the particulars captured by the register, so the EC cannot sit in Accra and know whose name to delete or move around to favor any party. Just stop creating unnecessary tensions in the country and ensure your supporters go and check their names in the register; there is no better audit than that.

Do you know what you are talking about? Have Ghana ever audit the EC voter's register before, if you says EC is an independent body why do you want someone to audit it, simply you don't trust anything that they will do?

All these people are not helping maybe they are refusing to understand the issue properly. All parties are to be helping to registration of names of which some try in various ways to to beat the system in this regard. IPAC is a perfect forum to address issues. Even NDC has boycotted IPAC for some time. Any party like NDC refusing to bring you concern to EC for redress but chose first to the public and even external organizations is problematic. Calling for audit cannot be refused by EC but the register must be prepared first before audit. A wise thing is for IPAC to adress all cocer first the we call for audit.

Those of you threatening mayhem if the VR isn't audit must know that you aren't the only men in town. Accorring to John Mahama NDC has the patent for violence. But I want to assure him that we aren't in 1979 or 1982. We're in 2024. Never again shall PNDC/NDC succeed in visiting their bloodshed on Ghanaians anymore. Some Ghanaians will be glad if NDC starts anything stupid. They'll surely get the revenge for their wickedness in the past. We haven't forgotten.

How can an Economist say things like this? Since when did we realise that the EC must be controlled by a political party? The EC has timelines for its activities, and it's doing its best to ensure that we have a credible VR. If anyone has issues with his or her name transferred to a polling station that he or she is not aware of, there was an exhibition that gave all of us the opportunity to ensure that our names in the register are where we had registered or intend to vote at on election day. If anyone fails to do this simple thing, why must we blame it on the EC? Let's stop psyching people for violence on election day. We should have rather educated our party followers to crosscheck their names in the register during the exhibition. I feel so sad for our country when I hear educated people say things like this. We need to understand that violence has no formular so it can get at anyone irrespective of the political affiliation. Ghana will remain peaceful before, during, and after the elections on December 7th and Ghana will win again. Shalom!
