Because he is ever much more selfish and greedier than the galamseyers, he is only thinking about how his stupid useless government will retain power to pave way for him to further steal, and so therefore wouldn't touch the nation wrecking galamseyers in order not to lose their votes, but rather jubilating over the arrest of the patriotic citizens who he sees as enemy to his government.
