Most Ghanaians are selfish and never want any good thing in society for all but for their individual self and since this mindset does not propel progress in society, you will always see failure and destruction of progress that need a collection action of everyone's input. This is all political appointments which is a partially deceptive democracy must end to avoid corruption. So that if all public officials (Ministers, CJ, EC, IGP, Public Directors, Public CEOs and heads of all public institutions) are elected by votes, it will bring competition for progress with National PRIDE (Patriotism, Readiness, Intelligence, Discipline & Efficiency) needed to develop all poor nations very fast. No political party can develop Ghana because of the mindset of Ghanaians. It will take parliament to amend the constitution and pass laws that replace political appointment with voting in all top public offices in choosing leaders for competitive performance or progress rather by political appointments of failure.

Unfortunately it was hijacked by the right wing. In the same way the demonstration in Ghana was hijacked by people with political interest and aspirations in the opposition party. How irresponsible and insensitive can demonstrators be that they block access to a hospital, disturbing patients who are on admission. Like like turning off the engine of the police car and taking out the keys. This shouldn't be tolerated but arresting protectors and beating them up is a red flag for the police.
Did we watch the Ghanaians who protested yesterday in New York againt Akuffo Addo and illegal mining in Ghana? Did we see how they were treated by the US police? That is professionalism.

The red beret leaders and political turnout at each protest betray the fact that they are orchestrated by the Opposition Party as an integral part of their campaign. How can we trust those who watched galamsey spike across Ghana but harvested votes in NPP areas in 2020 Elections by openly promising to free galamseyers from jail and allow galamsey to continue in peace. The protests are yet another feeble attenpt to tip the election in their favour, that is why only those committed to replacing NPP with NDC are involved in this fake protests. They have mobilised Chief, the religious, trade unions and civil society. These willing and gullible should set their emotions aside and reflect. Why has this become a life and death matter to be decided and acted on less than 3 months to a tightly contested election. What can be done to end galamsey that cannot wait till after the swearing in of the next President, if the verdict is that the current President's efforts have failed. Fortunately he is not on the ballot so concentrate on what the candidates are saying now, compared to what the said and did when they had the chance to halt Galamsey. Do not simply parrot the political compromised media. Remember and heed the warning that Russia's Wagner will be active in Ghana's election space with mass emotions/fear/protests engineering capabilites. If you are a neutral opinion leader or influencer check if you have been rewired by what you have heard recently. In my own view the attention in the galamsey fight should shifted to the land owners. They must be able to police concessions and illegal with their youth supported by police. This the kind of organic fight that government can finance, support and monitor. We must limit government to using drones to monitor water quality with a tracking and alerting system for houses of chiefs. This way no politician can gain advantage by turning a blind eye on galamsey for votes. Period. #HaltGalamseyPoliticsNow
