NKRUMAH’S SUPPORT WAS BROAD BASED, VIS A VIS SOME ETHNICALLY ORIENTED SELF SERVING AGITATORS: THEY HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON WITH NKRUMAH’S PRINCIPLES.

The people you have paraded in your article are all from the Volta Region and their supporters are limited to the Volta Region and some few other smaller communities who share their interests. Very covetous— anti NPP and anti multi party democratic system. Though I don’t append Nkrumah’s ideology or his efforts because of how tried to hijack Ghana with his detention without trial, one party state and Pro Russia and socialist ideologies and fact that he was an idol worshipper.

However Nkrumah’s support was broad based. So you can’t compare some narrowly minded individuals whose interests are ethnically based— inherently coup d’etat oriented and penchant to seize power by any means possible. These people are from one agitated community, who don’t see an to eye with NPP governments.

The reality is — they don’t convince the majority of the Ghanaian population with such parochial narrowed interests, period!
