In a REAL democracy people are allowed to express their opinion, which can be emotional. If there would be a dialogue between the leaders and the population, at least, emotions could be controlled. But the arrogance of the leaders combined with the quick tempered police apparatus is a trigger for many people, who feel left alone with serious problems caused by the ignorance of the government.

Why should the AG waist his time prosecuting protestors meanwhile his government has created the mess of galamsay? What moral authority has NPP government to humiliate these protestors? It's shameful to see what is going on in Ghana. Rather the AG should prosecute Nana Akufo Addo fir failing on his oath of office to protect the Land. What a nonsense we see the AG, the court, and the police perpetrating? You cannot determine protestors from channeling their grievances for misgoverning. The NPP government can talk and shout and nake noise about their achievements but do little instead. The President and the NPP party pretend to be preventing galamsay but quieting doing galamsay. A party and government that pretend to be godly but we see the contrary.
