  Pastor Oduro, I am reacting to your righteous concern over the governance of the country as as you clinically express it by juxtaposing the 'abundance' of V8s and dearth of essential equipment in our hospitals. However, and with all due respect, such simplistic analysis misses the fundamental structural dislocations in our overall governance system. A government needs vital materials and equipment, including vehicles, to work efficiently. And here I am not giving excuses for the choice of vehicle. My whole point is to say that when will society address units of overall governance instead of always directing our ire at the political structure. For all sakes, hospitals are units fully administered by competent appointees and it will be a game changer the day respected men of God, as Pastor Oduro no doubt is, redirect their anger at the management of the numerous failing public institutions, including hospitals.

  Pastor Oduro, your reputation transcends simplistic and popular sayings like "show me what the government has done with the taxes the collect". Haba! I hear such stupid statements a lot but it should not be coming from you. First, answer me if you think this country collects enough taxes. And do not, as is also commonly done, say that the taxes are stolen. Your church is a successful organisation that can, on its own or in partnership with other churches, establish a research NGO to report on some of these things of concern.

Sometimes Ghanaweb is criticised, but it is doing a good job, by giving the opportunity to every third rate one-man church preacher to vent his feelings. What does this hypocrite do with the offerings tithes and other collections from his church attendants? Has he built even a kindergarten? If a Catholic or Presbyterian or Methodist or Anglican priest had made this statement it would be understandable because of the contribution of these churches to national development. Not a one man church owner who considers offerings and tithes as his personal income.

  Papa Sofo, we know our politicians are wicked, no doubt about that? We have over 70% Christian population, what is the church doing. Why can't the all the churches in Ghana set just ONE Sunday in every month and use the collections they get to equip our hospitals? I surely believe in just one year all our hospitals and clinic would be fully equipped! Set the example and others would follow.

  What a shame? When will this man stop his bias? Those 275 ambulances that Akufo-Addo procured are all equipped with ventilators and defibrillators. Whiles under your Mahama, not one defibrillators were found in any Ghanaian hospitals aside from Korle-Bu and Okomfo Anokye teaching hospitals that had couple of these resuscitation equipments. And it was quite evident when the COVID-19 struck. But because of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia’s competent leadership most of the first responders have those equipment at their disposal. Now that the Akufo-Addo administration is building those 110 hospital facilities don’t you think that those modern facilities will be equipped with all those machines? All these are testimony that the Akufo-Addo administration has done more than any government in Ghana’s history.
