Sulemana Braimah might be wrong or right. Demonstrations are not meant to be violent. No. That's not the aim of the demonstrators. The message from any demonstration is that something is wrong and needs to be corrected. But, to most of the Ghanaian Police, demonstrations are meant to be violent so they go to punish demonstrators. Just imagine the police arresting an old lady of over sixty years of age and her grandchild who were holding dirty water in a bottle to show how our water bodies have become because of galamsey. What harm have they caused. Even though this is one in a thousand, Braimah failed to write about it. This means that everything the police did during the demonstration needs to be commended. No. Braimah should go back and come again.

@Abusua, do you see why we must be slow in pointing accusing figures at others? You're asking Sulemana Braimah to come again on his views about the professional manner in which the Police handled the demonstrators. This is because, for you the Police don't deserve any commendation. Meanwhile, in your whole comment you never said a word about the violent behaviour of some of the demonstrators including Vormawor. Aren't you equally being a hypocrite in this instance?

Braimah is conveniently praising the police without touching clearly on crowd violence. Who takes the car keys of a police vehicle and throw them away? Hypocrite Sulemana and his foolishness gives the MFWA away.

Why did the Police wait till the last hour to procure that so called injunction from the court? The police just acted in bad faith. Once you create that you are bound to get bad faith back. Look at the dishonest statement the police issued about some exercises they intend to undertake in Accra and therefore we're going to block some streets in Accra. The police could have gone to court much earlier to seek an injunction rather that the backdoor route they chose. State institutions should not act dishonestly like an average Ghanaian who invokes Gods in name every second but life's unchristly.
