I personally think that it is neither here nor there for NDC to be wasting time interpreting the party's position on the ballot paper.
It is becoming increasingly clear that the Electoral Commission which is more or less a wing of the ruling NPP party, led by JEZEBEL JEAN MENSA AND WIZARD ASARE BOSSMAN ARE BOUND ON STEALING THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE FOR THEIR PARTY, NPP.
Instead of wasting time to give meaning to the party's position on the ballot paper focus should rather be put on measures to nullify the evil schemes of the EC.
On the party's position on the ballot paper, what the party needs to do is to educate the members to look for the UMBRELLA SYMBOL AND THUMB PRINT ACCORDINGLY.

What does Sammy Gyamfi's claim that Mahama would be president for 8 years really mean? I do not want to believe that means that Mahama is going to win the elections and be president for 8 years, because that would be contrary to what our constitution states. But who knows what these NDC crooks have up their sleeves? If we give them the opportunity, they would not find it difficult to subvert the dictates of our constitution.

On the other hand, NDC's pretence on their affinity to 8 stems from the fact that they are still bitter that Mahama is the only president, so far, who could not serve the normal two terms as every other president has. Oyi nko aa deԑ a anka NDCfoɔ besu awu! The only other president who could not serve 8 years was only prvented from doing so by death! Mahama is even lucky he did has not joined Atta Mills wherever he may have gone.

The NDC is now going to sing the NDC slogan. Like the atheist who teased a pious Christian that there was no God to answer her prayers for groceries, but went out of his way to buy groceries for the old lady, NDC who once strongly ridiculed the NPP over the 'Breaking The 8' slogan are now claiming 8 to have all the attributes under the sun. What they are forgetting is that '1' is the best attribute of anything which has '8' as a prominent attribute. In fact when there is a tie, as we have now with 'Breaking the 8' and '8 on the polling card', the former is forerunner. Meaning that as NDC shouts about their position on the polling card, they are only reinforcing the conviction that 'Breaking the 8' is not only possible but the real and only thing!
