Both legal and illegal small scale mining must be banned in Ghana because they are all involved in the destruction of forest reserves farmlands and water bodies. Why are these miners, both legal and illegal, not talking about reclamation of degraded forest reserves after their senseless gold mining activities? These miners are only interested in destroying the environment for their gold but they are not interested in reclamation of the degraded environment
