You have put your finger on the heart of the matter.It is not the hardship that is driving them to commit theses despicable acts but rather their inability to see the connection between honest hardwork , sacrifice, discipline and later success. Countless immigrant men and women have over the last several decades had to do tough odd jobs,do cleaning jobs ,work as security in shops and pubs, work on shop floors and warehouses while studing for their university degrees.The vast majority of these courageous souls had no scholarship of any kind to speak of, yet they did not resort to the sordid behaviour of these losers. You have to wonder about the sort of homes or environment they were nurtured in . It is not difficult to see that these students will have problems of all kinds even if they had the fullest scholarship.Their poor attitude towards dealing with the challenges that are part of life does not bode well for their futures. They simply haven't got what it takes to attain true success.

Ghana is suffering from leadership crisis..it’s purely rubbish to be sending students abroad on Govt scholarships in this modern age..there is no sense in it..1.majority of these students are not willing to come back to Ghana when they are done with their education 2. The Govt should Use the money to improve upon the infrastructure in the various tertiary institutions in the country..Also why are the students lazy to work..laziness is causing them to do this abominable act..if u are a student, u are allowed to work for certain number of hours..they probably lied that in case the Govt fails to support them with their aid,they are willing to work to support themselves..they should deal with their consequences..most of these dumb assess will come with a degree that will not even benefit Ghana in any way..Govt scholarships sponsoring students to abroad is no more useful..If am a president, not a single student will be sent to abroad to study..just improve on the infrastructure of your tertiary institution..
