Ghanaian politicians don't listen to good advice from the good people of Ghana. These politicians never learn from their past mistakes

How many rich parents are prepared to pay fees for their children in high schools when the government has made it free? Does it make economic sense for these rich parents?

The government has to make the free funding means tested. Then the rich will be made to pay.

When I hear people advocate for review of free shs to make room for those who can pay to pay, such thoughts only confirm the hypocrisy of the Ghanaians. Check through out our history and tell me which pro-poor policy in our political history supported the poor when they were left with the politicians to manage who benefit. From Cocoa school scholarship to Getfund, the beneficiaries had mostly be the rich. People who can afford to feed their dogs with 4000 cedis a month used their influences to capture such opportunities. Free SHS must remain this way to serve the poor. Our upper and middle class are greedy and selfish and we should not pretend we do not know them. Analysis the family background of Getfund beneficiaries and you will appreciate why the Free SHS should be maintained
