Bagbin became a speaker by default. He is the worst speaker Ghana has ever had. Right now the guy is nursing an ambition to contest as the next NDC presidential candidate. But who cares since NDC is bereft of competent candidates.

He is too arrogant and bossy. But I don’t blame him, I blame that NPP renegade MP who secretly broke ranks to vote for this boastful man. Under Bagbin the Ghanaian parliament has become totally dysfunctional.

The fluke is that Ghanaians are peace loving people and God fearing, except some rabble rousing group whom we all know and can simply identify right now. Otherwise Ghana would’ve been set on a collision course amongst various political factions and tribes. So for Osman Bagbin to attack the President on a mere political phrase is totally hubris, self serving and lack of intelligence. I SHALL RETURN!

So what is all this hoollabaloo about? Bagbin may have got F in English language, so cannot differentiate between "wont" and "cant" here! Just like most of the NDC foolhardy are doing.

Who in his rightful senses would expect Ghana's governance to be entrusted to Mahama again after all his failures a decade ago? three months before election, and Mahama does not have any meaningful message about what he will be able to do except nkokor ne mprako nketenkete! And does he expect to win the people's confidence in this age of digital technology?

THE TWO STATEMENTS ARE DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT!

That “to whom” statement Rawlings made is totally different from the “I’m not going to handover power to someone I have defeated twice” — that’s attributed to President Akufo-Addo. Whilst the former was vowing not handover power to a representative government and a credibly elected president, the latter was making an inference that Ghanaians won’t even vote for John Mahama who has been thrown under the bus on two consecutive elections cycles.

I believe the President words were taken out of context or perhaps the interviewer should’ve ask for more clarification had that occasion called for further explanations. The President is not resistant on his constitutional duty to handover power after serving his two four year terms. However the President is making it clear that John Mahama is incompetent and not fit for the job, and will do everything legally necessary to avoid the return of yet Mahama’s another disastrous Dumsor administration. Does that sound clear to you now?

Some of you so called intellectuals cause the problems we face in the country. Even if Nana Addo had said: "I wont hand over ...", it would not have warranted the spin you put on the statement "I can't ...".

Saying that "I can't ...", means that Nana Addo is going to do all he can to prevent him facing the ridicule of doing something against his will. And this he can only do whilst he has the power to do so. And the means he has is helping provide the environment for Ghanaians to vote for his preferential choice! That is the only way to stop him handing over to someone he does not approve of.

As a seasoned politician, Bagbin could have done better if he had presented the two sides of the interpretation based on nana Addo's pronouncements; But rather he chose to focus on the interpretation from the point of view of his party, but pretending that being the Speaker of parliament, he is the neutral person in all issues.

Thank God Nana Addo just made a statement which Bagbin interprets as boasting. The NDC have not only be boasting but threatening violence. What has Bagbin said about that? Boasting and threat of violence, which is more serious? Let us play proper politics and stop all this media game!
