Criminals in control

Criminals have taken over the country and running the country the way they want. They are in politics presenting themselves as politicians, they are in businesses presenting themselves as businessmen and women, they are in the security services pretending to be protecting us but they themselves are the criminals. Until a real house cleaning measures are put in place, and until we have honest, not perfect, people to govern the country, even a fool can predict that the current situation will not going to end well for the country. It is a serious failure of politics and in my opinion, responsibility rests at the doorstep of this NPP government. We have a government but no leadership. Vote them out for almighty sake.

Insecurity is at all times high to the extent that people are getting missing each passing day across the major cities. NPP is one of the most evil political party in the whole of Africa. They don’t deserve to win power in any civil society that is out to develop. Road network in Accra is the poorest of the poor. Few tarred roads in Accra are not marked, and as a result, drivers are often found driving on any lane which can easily cause accidents. There are no streets lights coupled with no white markings on the lanes making it even more dangerous to drive in the night. The only thing NPP knows best is to steal public funds and enrich themselves to the detriment of the ignorance masses which are mostly their own supporters. NPP party never start any major project and complete it to benefit their own gullible followers. What they are good in doing is to start the never ending project so that they can use it to do politics for decades. They are very filthy evil people that are in our midst destroying us.

In a society where security on our roads and even in our communities is not prioritized by politicians, it is stupid, if not silly or misguided to dream of anything 24 hours. Even in broad day light, our security system is not able to guarantee the safety of businesses, commuters on our roads, and the individua in his home, and now we hear politicians dreaming of a 24-hour economy. The question Ghanaians should be asking the proponents of the 24-hour economy theory is , how is the government going to protect the safety of workers commuting to work in the night, and the security on our roads in the night? We are in a country where businesses and people are being attacked, killed or robbed of their valuables even in BROAD DAY LIGHT, and without addressing these safety issues, we are being told businesses are going to operate 24 hours? Our cities , the towns, and even the highways have no electric lights. Ghana is in darkness in the night which helps armed robbers to operate successfully in the night. Are we lunatics to buy into this death trap for political expediency? I urge the ordinary Ghanaian who values his life and family to start questioning the proponents of the 24-hour economy about how they are going to provide security on our roads, security for businesses and security for individuals who would like to work or commute in the night. It is dangerous , it is not safe, and it is ill-conceived. Maybe a debate on this 24-hour economy idea, when viewed against the lack of security in our economy will go a long way to well-educate and assure Ghanaians of the mode of implementation. In the absence of a national debate, seasoned journalists could also take up the isues to help educate the populace. We can not sit and watch people being robbed and killed and businesses being ransacked by armed robbers in the name of 24-hour nonsense. I mean no harm. Just thinking aloud!

Ghana police CID, judges know who are doing the galamsey but they don't care. IGP knows them but he doesn't care. Corruption has turned Ghana to animal farm.
