They don't deserve those privileges. You sit in parliament and think big for yourselves and leave the very people who voted for behind. Since independence, we have had regimes and all of you have supervised the collapsed of our railway system. You have not been able to link our 2 major cities, Kumasi and Accra, with a good road - not a better one. You use the money for the development of Ghana to buy luxury cars so that when you travel on our bad roads and with a motorcade, you feel you are driving on a road similar in US. See how politicians have done to our hospitals and schools. They and their families attend hospitals and schools abroad so they don't care what happens to those in Ghana. Ask yourself, the sickness the took Bagbin to Dubai, if a citizen gets same sickness, would that person be sent to Dubai? Politicians in Ghana, if they have their way they would make us breath in nitrogen whilst they, families, friends, girlfriends and cronies breath high quality oxygen from the Garden of Eden - they don't think of us.

Iddrisu is perhaps eyeing the position of speaker of parliament that is why he wants to retain the privilege of traveling with a siren and police protection. Selfish guy. No wonder he was kicked out as leader of the minority group in parliament.

The speaker dont have to visit the president, or the vice president office-they have to visit the speaker at parliament house, the same to the CJ, Her day to day activities are in Supreme court and she dont need any convoy.

Ghana police has no choice than to lead the convoy in directing the traffic to protect life and properties.
Remember Asantiman is a nation by herself, that was why your colonial masters gave HRM OTUMFOUR the necessary privileges HE deserves.
