Stop the dreaded Double Track policy 1 year ago
I watched Bawumia's 'Meet the Press' and realized that many journalists didn't ask critical questions. Nobody asked how Bawumia plans to end the dreaded Double Track policy. It's a big mess.

When did the assemblies in ghana become contractors? Even seasoned contractors with decades of construction experience and personal interest and stake in their equipments have very very tough time maintaining and keeping track of them. How much more government officials with no construction experience whatsoever. Besides they have no personal stake of any sort in these equipments which they only see as a handout. Shouldn't it be the other way round, that government should be looking for ways to privatise state enterprises of this nature for the sake of efficiency and accountability? And, yet a whole government is ready to waste this quantum of borrowed national resources for votes. By the next election year most of these machines could only be described as scrap. Woooow!
