There's one thing that unites most of the comments on this topic, namely insults, which leads me to surmise that the authors are NDC fans. If you disagree with someone's opinion, the most civilized response is a counter argument, not insults. I suppose it's easier to insult than to weave together a coherent and rational argument. It's too bad that these are the very people rooting for JDM's comeback. Fortunately, Ghana's fortunes will not be handed over to INSULTERS, JDM being the cheerleader. We need THINKERS and DOERS, not INSULTERS.

Ghana's economy has experienced challenges, some self-inflicted but mostly exogenous. Still, the situation is GOOD. Just look around and you'll see that there's EVERYTHING in Ghana: food, water, electricity, fuel, transportation, freedom of expression, free access to education, some health insurance, etc. etc. etc. Inflation is quite high, and that's regrettable, but you find that "beast" in most parts of the world, especially in developed countries.

Politics can destroy our sense of gratitude but I hope it is not too late for people to be grateful for where we are today, in spite of our difficulties. Frankly, the NDC's record of governance has not been immaculate, else JDM would not have lost the 2016 elections. If he is the ONLY one term president in the 4th republic, it is because he performed poorly when he was given the mandate. Case in point: he plunged this nation into darkness for so long and Ghana suffered huge judgments debts under his watch.

So folks, learn to be grateful! Remember who was in charge during the COVID-19 pandemic and how he managed the crises? That person deserves our respect, not insults.

If you continue to indulge in insults then you are a good candidate for REPENTANCE. Lord have mercy!
