Yes, NDC is to blame for all these bogus agreements they enter into when in power.

Nii, does it make sense for NDC to sign an agreement that forces Ghana to make annual payment of $500million? Yes, that is NDC for you and the same fools who saddled the nation with such stupid debts will turn around and blame the government of how their skin have rashes.

It sad that our politicians always sign contracts mainly for corrupt and personal reasons and not in the national interest.
The foreign counterparts know that they do not have the capacity to fulfil even the basic capital and the technical aspects yet the government go ahead even when all due diligence and all facts available points to the inadequacy of the foreign contractor.
By the laws of Ghana all state contracts must go through the State Tender Board and approved by Parliament if contract is funded by or attached to Ghana sovereign funds. Yet the governments ignored for political reasons and give all kinds of excuses to award the contract. Some as sole sourcing. Some contacts are done in a minister's office without knowledge of the President or the Parliament.
When the foreign contractors fail or fault in their obligation the government terminates the contract. Instead of suing the foreign contractors to fulfil their obligations the Government terminates the contract using all kinds of flimsy explanations, explanations they already knew that the contractor is not going to perform.
Usually the termination of the contract is to cover up their own corruption.
This judgement debt is simply not necessary and uncalled for and the inability of the Government to act to avoid this is really disappointing and just another corruption.
Simply loot Ghana and share.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
