That was the beginning of the energy problem Ghana faced. JM accepted the challenge and didn't run away from it. He promised to fixed it and he did, with excess. That is how you think. The problem with our power under NDC was "GAS" to power what we have, and Mahama was not paying Nigeria to supply us the gas. Did you know that Buhari then the Nigerian president was not on speaking terms with Mahama?

So, the bogus power agreement he signed rather made matters worse for Ghana as we are currently paying $500million yearly on it, make sense to you? Do your math and see how much NPP has been paying since 2017?

How do you buy something you don't use and at the same paying huge interest on it, make sense?

Now, when NPP came to power, NHIS was in debt to 1.2billion cedis. Go and ask how the debt come about. Also, ask him why they did not pay teachers for three years and left office for NPP to come and clear those huge debts. Support NDC and risk the future of Ghana because in power, they easily "destroys everything they see". I labelled NDC as a "swarm of locusts", they hate to see "green vegetation".
