They were excited and ready for trouble in case the Akyem mafia was not successful in rigging the election. Indeed, Mahama thought it was a fair election, but the truth came later.

Glad that General is not going to sign that piece of bullshit. We believe in peace, but when a stupid fool tribal gang exploits our peaceful posture, we will ensure that that gang smells pepper. We casted away the spirit of fear and God has invoked on us the spirit of valor.

Should a party attempt once again to rig this election against the will of the people, we will fight boot by boot to let the real will prevail in November.

There're no constitutional requirements for a so-called peace pact to be signed before an election. It is in vain to let the opposition sign a useless peace pact as seen in past elections. The state security agencies don't require any special authorizations to function. If they fail and the election degenerates into chaos, the government will be held responsible. The EC must therefore not have any choice other than ensuring a free, fair and transparent election devoid of rigging.
