  Honestly, the internal audit unit staff of the mmda's are the most laziest work force in Gh now. Absenteeism on theirt part is very high and they barely have nothing doing. Their call is just an avenue for them to also make money. Even Ghana Audit Service that has the powers takes money and sweep things under the carpet. Their call is to get them powers to negotiate for themselves in corrupt dealings with their superiors in order to enrich themselves. Government should not listen to their call. Ghana Audit Service has already done us more harm than good. Our problem in this country is the Auditors. They take money and write good reports to exernorate people.

  Auditing is not an everyday exercise as compared to other occupations. That would be too expensive. It would be unfair to say that they are lazy
