Thus, you will clear your account and borrow from people to leave Ghana thinking when you get there you can get very rich soon and pay all your debts without factoring in the risks in your new country. Even we have travelled on educational visas to the so-called “heaven on earth” and similar things happen to us. You will see huge stipends on your I-20 thinking it’s an amount to get you rich overnight. However, I have seen students crying to go home (GH) because they don’t have enough to pay their rent, feed, pay their course registration and others.
