I dont know how to describe this man called Amoah. Your drivers pay hefty fine when they don't renew their licenses on time, and whose fault is that? Tell your drivers to be discipline and you should not blame anyone for their inequities. The license is what allows them to earn a living so they should treat its renewal as a priority. Stop being an ndc stooge.

They have done it without considering Saturday's and sundays, such that if you licence or road worthy expires on the weekend, DVLA dont come to work so you can renew on monday. You go there on monday and it attracts a fine. This is what Bawumia is doing to driver aside high fuel cost and bringing back his azaa toll booths which he ignorantly abolished.

This is exactly what I've been talking about. Bawumia appears to be in his own world. He doesn't know the IMMEDIATE NEEDS of Ghanaians so he's always speaking about UNNECESSARY things.

This is a show of 'brainlessness' on Bawumia's part. So if a driver's eye becomes defective within the ten years, he will still be driving? I can bet that the rate of accidents will at least triple.

DRIVERS' TRAINING IS CRITICAL
Ghanaian Drivers are poorly trained. The road habits of 90% of the drivers is not safe. The Government should be serious to make our roads safe by making sure that every licensed
driver can safely operate and abide by the road bye-laws. Bribery at the ministry of transportation must ceased and serious punishment must be administered to those who make the roads unsafe. The demerit point system must be adopted along with digitization.

Nonsense! Are the drivers of the GPRTU and their sister transport unions the only persons who use or hold drivers' licenses in Ghana? Why should you be consulted before a change in the expiration and renewal period is effected in Ghana? Are you more important than those drivers who are not part of your unions, including private car operators? Indeed, politics has affected the thinking faculty of some Ghanaians, such that these persons speak by-heart, without engaging their brains a bit.

Medically it's advisable to do an eye test every two (2) years so that any defect could be detected and corrected early. This test is mandatory for a driver's license renewal. For VEEP to promise the extension of this renewal from 2yrs to 10yrs will only bring lot of accidents on our roads. Politicians can promise everything when they're desperate for power. Ghanaians, please shine your eyes!!
