In my opinion, university education is overemphasized in Ghana. With all this huge graduate unemployment, I would have thought that any serious government would rather think of giving high-quality technical education to the youth which comes with higher prospects of self-employment. If any of the beneficiaries think they would want to further their education after making some money then they can then fund themselves. In this way, we can also solve the serious lack of quality mid-level technical personnel which is a big problem in this country at the moment.
