Those students will still have to pay for their accommodation etc. Level 200 students and above will continue to pay regular fees as usual.

Clearly, MPs are very important because they represent the people. MPs must therefore be given more respect wherever they go, especially in the capital. Since most MPs don't live in Accra, there ought to be a special hotel for newly elected MPs, so that they would be able to find a good accommodation in Accra before they are sworn in. If a teacher living in Nyamebekyere who has never been to Accra wins the elections in his constituency on Dec 7, with his little money how would he be able to find a good accommodation in Accra before January 7?

JM was recently telling nurses to be more concerned about job security and not allowances, and here he is promising freebies to 1st year tertiary students. I thought the NDC was going to prudently review free SHS and make it more sustainable but if this is where they want to go, then I can't think far. Until we get real and challenge our leaders to do the right thing, we will continue this cycle of failed leadership.

Look at the drone's services currently serving Ghanaians in the remotest part of the country, that was the idea of Bawumia as vice president. Even if he attempts it he will first cancel freeSHS because our economy can't support both freeSHS and free first year tertiary (Universities and Technical universities). The same person who believes freeSHS isn't sustainable now making this promise? Just for the votes? If you claim freeSHS leads to poor quality do want to make tertiary education poor too? Or all those statements are lies and propaganda? This won't work, 24-hour economy won't work either. Let him give clear workable policy if he wants to become president again. The NPP started well but messed up a bit, but you can see how their policies are being taken seriously; every part of the nation is seeing roads being constructed. Children who could never dream of going to 1st grade school have been there, provided your grades are good. Poorly needed students have completed university due to FSHS, which is a plus for us all. Trust me, Mahama is only coming for himself.

The chiefs who are the custodian of land and “the people” should not sit down and watch for a politician to play politics with the wonderful Human Resources we have the future of the Ghanaian like they did with four years SHS to so 3 years SHS which led to unemployed graduates association years down the line. Same these politicians did with one time premium Insurance..leading to the ineffectiveness of a wonderful policy for the poor. Leading to greedy Ghanaians milking the tax payers money.
The traditional leaders should be in position to help their people make an informed decision on who should become the next President of Ghana.
At least Ghanaian should choose someone who is not consistent, whose reputation have been marred by corruption tags .
Couldn’t exercise discretion in commenting on Special prosecutors report on Airbus scandal knowing that it will only take a court to clear his name and marred reputation.
