We have parked our cars due to the high cost of fuel, so there is no need to renew our licences. Reduce fuel prices for us to go to work.

The nation's biggest challenge are lawlessness and lack of discipline on our roads, culminating in carnage of breadwinners of many families. However, instilling discipline and enforcing traffic regulation is a treasure trove that can be monetized to develop our road infrastructure while encouraging our drivers to be law-abiding or hitting them in the pocket. The solution lies in building, restructuring, retooling regulating support systems and institutions such as Database or Data-driven system, PIN or personal Identification Number, Ghana Card, Driver's License, and Compulsory Email Address for all. No time to chase a driver or law-maker's such as James Gyakye Quayson to serve him a court notice. That's so first century in this digital era.

Drivers want Fuel prices to be reduced and NOT this. Bawumia is LOST in the desert.

This will be a challenge because good eye sight is a requirement for driving. If drivers go for 8-10 years without their eyes checked, our roads will not be safe. Maybe DVLA can increase its capacity to process things faster.

Great. Long overdue. But too many promises. Just sum it up into one broad slogan - Bawumiah, man for the digital revolution in Ghana. Abrokyire is coming to Ghana . Period.

This proposal makes a lot of sense. In most European countries the driving license is valid for ten years. What is the rational for renewing the license every two years in Ghana?
