I have read through your essay and I am now more convinced than ever that the 24-hour economy wouldn't work. Thanks for the attempt though. But, I don't see how economic viable it will be for a supermarket to pay workers from 12:00 midnight to 6:00 AM if the customers they're supposed to serve are fast asleep. So, any incentive government will give to such businesses will clearly be unsustainable (if the demand is low) and cause financial lost to the state. It's easy to pull the donkey to the river, but making it drink is another thing. You will find the 24-hour economy very ridiculous if you go down to the nitty-gritty of business operations. You make businesses increase work hours to employ more staff to produce goods and services which they already don't have. How can this work? This kind of top-bottom approach doesn't work. Successful businesses fill the supply gap of high demand goods, they don't produce excess goods hoping for some 'magical market'. Instead government should first create the viable economic environment for businesses where demand is high which will force businesses to increase production and by extension increase work hours and labor(bottom-up). Clearly, it will take Ghana a while to achieve this, so promising to implement 24-hour economy when you win can best be described as political gimmick. That's why we ask for serious, concise, and comprehensive explanation. Not political rhetoric which the politicians themselves don't even understand. Even in US, UK etc, not every office or business works 24/7. That's why John Dramani is smart enough to run away from explaining it because the moment you start to explain this policy you begin to realize you are fooling yourself and subjecting yourself to more questions. Trust me I can win this 24-hour economy debate with John Dramani easily. That's why he can't even try it against Bawumia.

How can you write about a judge who rose from High Court to Supreme Court in 4 years because he was appointed by Akufo-Ado but fail to notice that another judge (Gabriel Pwamang, a former PNC general secretary) was appointed by John Dramani in 2015 straight from private legal practice to the Supreme Court, amidst disagreement of both the GBA and GLC? If you want to write a book about the Supreme Court do so holistically. Not this kind of pick and chose to fit the puzzle approach. Damn! Since Mannasseh wants to write about the Justices he should go and research about all them and how they got there and which party they belonged. That's how intellectuals do research. You don't target one person who may be more qualified than others who were appointed under similar circumstances.
